How to donate money
To continue growing and helping, we need your financial support. All donations are tax deductible. To donate, please click on the button to the right. Charitable Registration #  872814504RR0001

It costs about $260.00 to furnish a home. Please send cheques to : 1708 W.16th Avenue, Vancouver BC V6J 2M1 (Please note this is a mailing address only, do not drop furniture here)

How to donate furniture
We offer pickup service in Vancouver, Burnaby (west of Royal Oak) and Richmond. Please contact to arrange for pick-up days & times.

We pick up furniture for a minimum $50 donation. Drivers can accept cash, cheque or credit card or you may donate in advance online.

We are fortunate and grateful that we have many generous donors who have helped HomeStart set a high standard for the quality of donations we accept.

  • Kitchen & dining room tables
  • Chairs & sofas (no sofabeds)
  • Armchairs
  • Coffee tables
  • Bookcases
  • TV’s & VCR/DVD players
  • Radios
  • Desks (not office-size)
  • Microwave ovens
  • Telephones & lamps
  • Rugs
  • No items with glass
